It seems really promising. Though, I haven't been able to get the NDS style patch to work. I have followed thoroughly the instructions in the readme file and I have used both the files provided here and at romhacking.net. Maybe I'm doing something wrong with the diffile tool?

So, describe the sequence of your actions. Have you tried to use the NDS Style hack for NTSC or PAL version? If for the PAL version, then redownload the archive. I noticed some inconsistency.

Uhm. So I went into CDmage and opened up SOT2 image and started importing files from the PAL folder. Once done it generates a bin and cue file. Open those in an emulator and worked fine. So then I open up Diffile and go to apply patch, browse for the target file and choose the bin file, then I go And browse the patch file and choose the File under the NDS style folder and click start. After that, the game stops working on the emulator. Burned copies have failed on console as well.

Try once again with the updated archive.

Do the files "0TH2.BIN" differ before and after patching? Files size will be the same anyway.

No, they don't. They're both 535552 bytes.
